Hello every one. I was born 01/05/1941 in Carlsbad New Mexico. We had a 80 acer farm with 360 leased for our live stock to run in. It wasn't a bad life as we always had plenty to eat. While others were having a hard time what with Hitler raising cane with most of Europe.
It was pretty much a farming community with every one helping each others with crops buildings and what ever was needed to get by. We were there utile Dad died in 1955 at 45 years old.
Then we had to sell out and move to California. My Grandparents had moved there 10 years before that. Grandpa worked on a large farm that pretty much keep us all working at one thing or another.
Maintenance was pretty much my job as I like to fix machinery
